George W. McGee, P.E.

(1947 – 2012)

George W. McGee graduated NCSU in 1969 with a B.S. in Civil Engineering, Construction Option.  He obtained his Professional Engineering License in North Carolina,  South Carolina, Texas,  and Georgia.  

As a Construction Consultant, George had over 40 years experience in building diagnostics, analyzing construction and design defects.  He was also engaged in construction management, scheduling, and delay analysis, estimating construction claim resolution, building problem diagnosis and resolving issues of water intrusion into buildings and building components. 

George’s work included a broad range of construction: condominium projects, residential projects, office buildings, schools, churches, hospitals, bridges, dams, power plants, water plants, navy and army facilities. 

He founded McGee Consulting Associates, Inc. (MCA) in 1995 with the desire to provide clients with the best services there is.  During the years, he trained engineers and staff with his methodical approach to problem solving.
